Jacqueline Conciatore

I am a creative, experienced writer, editor, journalist, and wordsmith with a wide-ranging portfolio. My experience includes reporting for newspapers, journals, and trade publications, nonprofits, and government. I currently manage publications for the African Wildlife Foundation, which strives to ensure that wildlife and wild lands thrive in modern Africa. Previously I worked on a full-time contract basis for the National Science Foundation, where I produced content about exciting and transformative research outcomes. Prior to NSF, I worked for 10 years at the Jane Goodall Institute, a global nonprofit dedicated to chimpanzee conservation, education, and community-centered development.

I strive to produce appealing, high-quality content and winning storylines, and to be an adaptable, resourceful, and enthusiastic multi-tasker.

My specialties include feature writing, copy writing (book publishers), news writing, copy editing, proofreading, blogging, photography, web research, and producing publications for nonprofits.

I also write nonfiction for young readers; published titles include Martin Luther King, Jr.: Fulfilling a Dream; The Muckrakers & Progressive Reformers, and Navigating Filter Bubbles (all Cavendish Square).
